Samsung introduced 8 gigabit LPDDR5 RAM chips for next-gen Smartphones

Samsung introduced 8 gigabit LPDDR5 RAM chips for next-gen phones which means the next gen smartphones are 150% faster then current.

Samsung is a world leader in mobile memory advancements technology , After launching many Fast devices such as Samsung Evo SSD and GDDR6 memory chips on a “10nm class” .

Samsung posted a press release today to unveil its latest advancement in mobile technology: the industry’s first 10-nanometer class 8-gigabit LPDDR5 DRAM.

Samsung claims the data rate of up to 6,400 megabits per second (Mb/s), which is 1.5 times as fast as the mobile DRAM chips used in current flagship mobile devices (LPDDR4X, 4266Mb/s).

Next generation of flagship smartphones will be able to handle  intensive applications  with ease, such as AI and machine learning applications, and ultra-high definition (UHD) video playback.

However Voltage isnt fix because it has a feature called Deep Sleep mode which cuts the power usage when your phone is idle; its like turbo boost in Intel processors .

Samsung claims this will be 50 percent more efficient than the current “idle mode” featured on LPDDR4 chips.

Samsung says it will begin mass production of its next-generation DRAM lineups (LPDDR5, DDR5 and GDDR6) in line with the demands of global customers.
